Biofuel-Solution is a research organization focused on turning glycerol into other useful chemicals. Since it was founded, Biofuel-Solution has developed and accessed intellectual property for three categories of final products as well as other areas of the glycerol value chain.

The team at Biofuel-Solution has long experience in working with research and development in renewable fuels and environmental technologies and is still associated with Lund Institute of Technology. Former fields range from pioneering work in selective catalytic reduction of NOx to hydrogen generation and fuel cells, all originating from heterogeneous catalysis and apply to the glycerol field.
